Holistic Occupational Therapy

Skills for the job of living

Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession that focuses on helping people participate in the meaningful activities that shape life experience. When illness, disability, or challenges arise that block success in life, an OT can provide skilled support and guidance.

Amy has 16 years experience as an occupational therapist. Having worked in a variety of settings, she has expertise and interest in chronic pain, brain injury, post-partum reintegration, and oncology rehab. She is a nationally board certified lymphedema specialist and has supported hundreds of clients with oncology related lymphedemas.

Her work is holistic and eclectic, drawing on a variety of tools in her toolbox which include craniosacral therapy, spiritual counseling, therapeutic yoga, energy medicine, as well as strong traditional rehab skills. Her work is compassionate, client-centered, and always takes into account all levels of healing and experience while helping clients co-create healthier, happier realities.

For clients who are being seen for motor vehicle accident related injuries and have an open claim with their insurance company, sessions are billed directly to the insurance carrier. Oregon is a self-referring state. You do not need a doctor’s referral to be seen following a car accident. Please be sure to provide your date of injury, claim number, and medical adjuster’s contact information at the initial visit.

Whole You, LLC does not do direct billing with medical insurance companies. For clients who have a need that falls under the umbrella of skilled occupational therapy, sessions may be eligible for insurance reimbursement. Medicare, Oregon Health Plan, and insurance plans that exclude out of network visits will not be eligible for reimbursement. Clients should investigate their coverage prior to setting up an appointment.

A phone call to your insurance company would go like this:

What is my coverage for out of network occupational therapy visits?
Do I need a doctor’s referral or pre-authorization?
If pre-authorization is required, can you fax the forms to Whole You, LLC at (971) 999-7002?
Is there a fax number I can use for my superbills? If not, what address should be used?
Is there an additional form to be submitted with my superbills?

Superbill receipts will be emailed to clients. When submitting, please be sure to specify that you want direct reimbursement versus money being sent to Whole You, LLC.
